Department of Neurosurgery at BJGMC caters to large number of population in almost every corner of Maharastra. We here perform some of the very complex advance neurosurgical procedures some advance.

Procedures like:

• Brain Tumor surgery - craniotomy and excision of glioma, meningioma, dermoid cyst, epidermoid cyst, cp angle tumors, posterior fossa tumors
• Brain trauma surgeries - extradural hematoma evacuation, subdural hematoma evacuation, depressed skull fractures, intraparenchymal hematoma evacuation
• Spinal trauma surgeries - laminectomy, discectomy, ACDF, spinal fixation
• Spinal tumor surgeries - ependymoma, schwannoma, astrocytoma, arachnoid cyst
• Congenital brain defect surgeries - chiari malformation, dandy walker syndrome
• Brain aneurysm surgeries - acom aneurysm clipping, ICA Aneurysm clipping, MCA aneurysm clipping

We have high speed drill for performing craniotomies. Also two microscopes with advanced features.
